Mechanical Engineer Remote Jobs in United States: We’re looking for engineers and other quantitative professionals who enjoy working with data, charts, and problem-solving. In this role, you’ll help improve the next generation of AI by creating and reviewing challenging visual reasoning tasks.
Your mechanical engineering background can be especially valuable when working with technical charts, engineering diagrams, graphs, and other data-heavy visuals. You’ll turn real-world visual information into thoughtful questions, solve those questions yourself, and help identify where AI systems struggle.
No machine learning or programming experience is required. What matters most is strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly explain how you reached an answer.
What You’ll Do
- Review charts, graphs, diagrams,& other technical visualization.
- Create question that require careful observation,& multi step reasoning.
- Solve each question and provide clear, logical explanation of the answer.
- Evaluate how AI models interpret,& reason about visual information.
- Identify mistakes, misunderstandings, and weak reasoning in AI responses.
- Improve questions and solutions so they accurately test visual reasoning.
- Work with real-world data and technical visuals from engineering and other quantitative fields.
- Help build high-quality training data for advanced AI systems.
- What We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you have:
- A background in mechanical engineering,or another quantitative/STEM fields.
- Experience as student,recent graduate, researcher,or working professional.
- Strong analytical & problem solving skill.
- The ability to understand detail charts, graphs, diagrams,and technical figures.
- Confidence working with multiple variables, axes, legends, trends, and numerical data.
- Strong written English,& ability to explain your reasoning clearly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with AI chat tools and interest in testing,or improving AI responses.
